The Jakhoo Hill Trail is a 2 km uphill walk from The Ridge (Shimla) to the Jakhoo Temple (2,455 m / 8,054 ft)—the highest point in the city. The trail winds through a dense deodar forest, offering panoramic views of Shimla, the Shivalik hills, and on clear days, even the snow-capped Himalayas. At the summit stands a 108-foot Hanuman statue, visible from across town, and a temple steeped in Ramayana lore.
