How to reach
Kullu is reached mainly by road through Mandi, Aut and Bhuntar, with onward routes to Manali, Naggar, Kasol, Tirthan and Jibhi. Bhuntar airport serves the district, while road conditions should be checked during monsoon, snowfall or high-pass travel.
Best season
March to June is good for sightseeing and valley travel, while September to November brings clearer skies and great road-trip weather. Winter is beautiful around Manali and higher areas, but snow and pass closures need planning.
