About Us
A personal guide to Dev Bhoomi — built with love, care and respect for Himachal.
A Guide to Himachal began with a simple dream — Monika Rana, a daughter of these hills, wanted to share the Himachal she grew up with: not just the postcard views, but the temples, trails, traditions, and quiet corners that rarely make it into travel brochures.
This isn't just a website. It's our way of sharing the Himachal we love — with honesty, care, and respect for the land and its people.

A Guide to Himachal began with a simple dream — Monika Rana, a daughter of these hills, wanted to share the Himachal she grew up with: not just the postcard views, but the temples, trails, traditions, and quiet corners that rarely make it into travel brochures.
She asked her husband, web developer Trilok Singh, to help bring that dream to life — a single platform where travelers, devotees, and wanderers could explore Himachal Pradesh district by district, in real depth.
A home for spiritual, adventurous, cultural and practical Himachal stories.

This isn't just a website. It's our way of sharing the Himachal we love — with honesty, care, and respect for the land and its people.
Whether you're planning your next trip or just want to spend a few quiet minutes in the mountains from wherever you are — welcome. Consider this your companion through Dev Bhoomi.
Himachal Pradesh isn't just a destination — it's alive with stories.
Himachal Pradesh isn't just a destination — it's alive with stories. Chants echoing through old temples, the hush of pine forests on empty trails, festivals that have been celebrated the same way for generations.
Monika grew up surrounded by all of this, and she always felt it deserved more than a few lines in a guidebook. So we set out to build something that goes deeper — for tourists, yes, but also for seekers, storytellers, and anyone curious about the real Himachal.
Thoughtful stories, district by district.
Every piece is written with care — no generic, copy-paste content
We focus on places beyond the usual tourist trail
Organized district by district, so you can explore at your own pace
A mix of local knowledge and thoughtful design
A platform designed to grow with every district, story and map.
Trilok brought his experience in WordPress and Divi to create something that could grow with us — a site that's scalable (each district gets its own layout and map), easy to navigate, and built around real stories and real photos from Himachal.
And we're just getting started.
Welcome to the Himachal we love.
Whether you're planning your next trip or just want to spend a few quiet minutes in the mountains from wherever you are — welcome.
